Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Lydia Elliott has been on stage since the moment she could walk. Whether it was with her father’s band or in her preschool’s Christmas pageant, she was confident and comfortable showing off her natural gifts.

Gradually, though, hardship hit and she fell into a dark time emotionally. Seeking ways to express how she was feeling in a world where she felt voiceless, Lydia found she could utilize her music as both a stress reliever and creative outlet. Her voice blossomed in a time when she felt nothing could grow, and her true calling came into the light: songwriting.

“In blackened cities, I am found.”

— Line from “Townes,” the first song Lydia wrote

Since then, she’s hit the ground running. Lydia graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in 2021, studied at Berklee College of Music, then made her way to Los Angeles, California! She’s released her first single, “Cerberus,” and plans to announce more music ventures very soon. When not writing songs, she spends her time as a makeup artist, cosplayer, and author.

Things are just beginning, and Lydia is excited to watch it unfold.
